MemoryFrame is designed with privacy-first principles. We DO NOT store or retain any user photos or personal data. Photos you upload are transmitted directly to OpenAI's API for processing and are immediately discarded after generation. We do not have access to your photos, we do not save them on our servers, and we do not use them for any purpose other than generating your requested portrait.

3. How Your Photos Are Processed

When you upload photos, they are sent directly via API to OpenAI for image generation. We act as a simple intermediary - your photos pass through our service but are never stored, logged, or retained. OpenAI processes the images according to their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We recommend reviewing OpenAI's privacy policy for details on their data processing.

4. No Data Retention

We explicitly confirm: (a) No photos are stored on our servers; (b) No user accounts or personal information are collected; (c) No cookies are used to track individual users; (d) No databases of user content exist; (e) Generated images are provided for immediate download and are not stored.

5. Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI's API for image generation. Your photos are transmitted to OpenAI for processing. We use Vercel for hosting and Stripe for tip processing. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (such as page views and feature usage) to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As an EU resident, you have rights including: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing.
